Ice Moon

Today is full moon. I have always been interested in the moon phases. I think possibly because I have some Druidic relatives. (it’s a long shot but why not) My grandmother and great aunt were both full Welsh and members of the Druid Society. (as a kid I was told this was a strictly Christian thing) (uhh, yeah) Druidism boasts its lack of institutionalized dogma. From my readings, each Druid is required only to adopt these basic tenets:

One of the many ways in which the object of Man’s search for religious truth can be found is through Nature.

Nature, being one of the primary concerns in Man’s life and struggle, and being one of the objects of Creation, is important to Man’s spiritual quests.

Sounds reasonable to me.

Now, I will leave you with a lovely quote from Oscar Wilde:

“Beauty is a form of genius–is higher, indeed, than genius, as it needs no explanation. It is of the great facts in the world like sunlight, or springtime, or the reflection in dark water of that silver shell we call the moon.”
